Responsible Entrepreneurship: THE NEW REALITY FOR BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY’
With focus and priority on Start-ups and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), BVIC has undertaken a comprehensive study on MSMEs in and around Hyderabad on Business Social Responsibility (BSR) practices they follow. Based on the study findings, BVIC will release a publication during the proposed seminar and deliberate on themes around overall Responsible Entrepreneurship. The seminar is titled ‘Responsible Entrepreneurship: The new reality for Business Sustainability’ and is scheduled on 21st November 2017 at Hotel Mari Gold (Peacock Hall), Greenlands – Hyderabad. It will be a half a day session starting from 9:45 am till lunch.
Since most of the start-ups fall under MSME category in India, and SMEs being at the centre of community development, we believe that embedding responsible business practices in SMEs will go a long way in addressing social and environmental issues thereby making businesses more responsible and sustainable. In our endeavour to promote Responsible Entrepreneurship in all its facets, we seek involvement and engagement of diverse stakeholders. This seminar will connect key stakeholders and deliberate on growth prospects of businesses in the context of Responsible Entrepreneurship. The seminar will benefit entrepreneurs and key stakeholders through knowledge sharing and providing key insights of responsible entrepreneurship and business practices.
The event is slated to host reputed institutes, industrial associations, corporates, SMEs, academia & research institutes, professionals and other key stakeholders active in this sector. The amalgam of multi facet stakeholder groups relevant to seminar objective will serve as a great platform to deliberate in charting out the right path for sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship development.
