Achyutha Enterprises

As per FAO, world food production needs to increase by 80 per cent in 2030. The agriculture sector faces a major problem related in regards to water and fertilizer’s use, which leads to lower yields. Dr. Jagadeesh B Henjarappa and Anitha P Sadashivaiah saw this as a social problem, decided to address it with innovative solution, and established Achyutha Enterprises.

Intend: The founders of Achyutha Enterprises believe that their innovation based on phorosynthetic simulator technology can help Indian agriculture to reach its food security goal. Also, help the farmer to achieve minimum 65 per cent more farm income through agriculture.

Idea:Achyutha Enterprises, an agro-based social enterprise with innovative solution based on photosynthetic simulator technology trying to improve the lives of farmers; improving the efficiency of their crop inputs; and reducing the cost of cultivation by limiting the use of chemicals. Their innovation enhances the carbon dioxide fixation and helps in minimizing the greenhouse effect/climate change. In next 34 months, Achyutha Enterprises estimates to bring this technology for 55,000 acres of land in different states of India.
